Herman's Archive

The continuing development of this Archive is in memory of Herman van Herwijnen (October 15, 1929 - August 8, 2004).

Herman was a prominent member of the Dutch Circle of Slide Rule Collectors. His major work was a CD database with over 5000 slide rules cataloged (including images). This Archive is a continuation of that work.

In addition he co-authored the book Calculating on Slide Rule and Disc and published many times in the Journal of the Oughtred Society.

Two facilities are available here:
